I remember reading about this when I watched this because it struck me so much of the satanic panic- this film was really foundational in setting up the cultural push toward the satanic panic

The amount of people who came out to defend Polanski in the aftermath of that news told me all I needed to know, especially since the majority of them are still incredibly influential in Hollywood
It’s exhausting even trying to catalog the corruption in the industry, makes me want to just boycott all of it and watch Mosfilm lol
