China praise is so puzzling. Chinese people aren’t locked in the way north Koreans are. They can, and do, leave the country. And then, they can tell you about china. Have they met someone who grew up in china irl? I have, and it’s made me all the more lib-dem socialist.
The only criticism of the PRC they’ll accept?

Edit: a quick thought. I don’t agree with the idea that being against the actions of Israel is the same as being antisemitic at all. It’s an argument that I reject regardless of whatever population distribution there is. A nation is not a race. In fact I’d argue the idea that criticizing them is antisemitic is itself antisemitic. Anyway on an unrelated note, isn’t the argument that being against actions of China is sinophobic very similar to something else that just passed out of my mind for some reason.

For two, someone doing good work does not give them a free pass to be shitty in other areas. You can praise one for good work in one thing and criticize them for the bad things they’re doing in another.
