I think we should just go for Eze rather than wait for the possibility of Rodrygo. There’s not even any clear indication that Rodrygo is available or wants to join us. Meanwhile, Eze is PL proven, can be a game-changer, is an Arsenal lad, and apparently wants to join us.
Also, if we settle for someone like Olly Watkins or Nicolas Jackson after all this talk about Sesko or Gyorkeres, it’s going to feel a little underwhelming. Ekitike world probably be okay though IMO.

It may be closer to £84 million. As nice as a young talent would be, the fee still seems a bit much.

I have a mildly irrational hatred for them cuz one of their ex-players went to my uni and joined up with an intramural team to knock us out of the competition during the fall. Like it’s a fucking game full of school kids and then there’s this one team with a bunch of exclusively Mandarin-speaking full custom kit wankers plus this one Mexican guy who was worth 2 million on Transfermarkt at peak and has played professionally for over a decade against a bunch of physics students
