Me and a lib manager I had at a retail job were complaining about a US vet customer who was an asshole, he had kept pointing out how he was a veteran, I said “maybe if he fought the Nazis or something I’d care” and my manager said “who do you think inspired the Nazis??” It was then I knew he was a true cool one.
