    It’s like watching an athlete you admire get canned and have very public arguments with the team owners and managers.

    Nobody looks good. Meanwhile the team may or may not have a good season next year. You’re past the point of caring and you might feel dirty if you continue to follow them.

      I gotta admit, I’m actually really curious how it will go. I don’t think of myself as normally one for drama I read about on the Internet, but sometimes it gets me when artistry and money intersect. Of course usually this is gamedev and filmmaking. Sometimes music too.

        Yeah, me too.

        I really want the game to be good and to play it. But, the owners/original developers sold out to a company known for microtransaction crap which turns me off. Add this drama and the whole thing makes me sick.

        Another part of me is watching just to see how it plays out. Call it morbid curiosity.
