I have found myself in a Reddit disagreement where I cannot at all follow the logic of the other parties. I expect they would say the same about what I am saying. It feels a bit like trying to debate a flat earther, there appears to be some sort of fundamental disagreement about the rules of the universe. It makes my brain hurt.

There is. It can end up like poking a loose tooth though, you just can’t stop yourself. It feels like you are so close to understanding that just one more snippet of information will bring illumination, but it just keeps failing to happen.

“no one cares who I was until I put on the mask” oooh yeah it’s CPAP trial time. Have a full mask to start because thats what I tried at the hospital study and it worked ok. It’s pretty cumbersome so I might use the trial period to try others 🤞🏻😴😴

Alright I’ve finally gotten to play it.

Holy shit it’s amazing with high gain!

My hands feel weird moving around with the extra string. I keep making little mistakes, over or under extending my fingers.

It’ll take some getting used to, but it’s absolutely worth it.

Is that a 7 string? They feel weird at first but then you get used to it. Some people get so used to the 7 string they can’t go back to 6 strings

Yeah it is. Just the placement of the thickest string relative to the bridge feels really weird. So my fingers automatically go for the 2nd string and not the 1st.

        Muscle memory huh lol

It’ll Defs take some getting used to.

Sometimes you can do everything perfect and the person still isn’t in a space to receive it or come out of that spiral. Love isn’t a substitute for therapy, medication, or whatever he needs, so he has to think about what would help him.

Make sure to look after yourself. You can support him but make sure to spread the load and ensure you’re not trying harder than he is. You can’t do it all

Well that’s this work week over, i haven’t counted down the hours this much in a long time.

Looks like it will take 5-7 working days for both the ATO and super fund to get their stuff organised and both parties are all ‘this is weird it’s never happened before, this needs escalation (10 minute hold)’. oh well, this is why people get accountants even though this really should’ve been very straightforward. I’ve done what I can for now.

On a vaguely related note, really glad that mandatory payday super is kicking in next year. Kinda BS knowing how much is just sitting around not earning interest for 3 months.

I have to finalise my campervan/campsite bookings tomorrow and then it’s just a matter of waiting till the end of the month and going on my veeeeeeery badly needed break.

You know that feeling of revulsion you get when you hear a sound like nails on a chalkboard or teeth against metal? It’s called “grima” (from Spanish)

Bring Her Back, an Australian horror movie released recently will give you this sensation. Body horror combined with supernatural elements make it into my top 20 favourite horror films list.

    10/10 Splintered teeth 🦷

I saw that last weekend and forgot to comment… Omg it’s brilliant! Unsettling from the get go, and then it just gets worse. The brothers have outdone themselves

Pakige is for Miss Meow, so this seems accurate.

Not very exciting, it’s a big bag of kitty litter, but I’m sure Madam will enjoy her full litter tray refresh tomorrow. I should also be able to put up her forest decals so she can imagine she’s out in the jungle.

Just checked the train replacements on the Mernda/Hurstbridge line. Bus replacements until last service SUNDAY 20/7!!! Must be one hell of a fault at Clifton Hill. link I reckon it’ll last longer than that though.

Nice hair can make a big difference to how you feel! My hair is butt length and an absolute PITA, but when it’s shiny and behaving, I love it. However, now that I’m swimming 3 x week, I’m thinking about lopping it off.

Reminder for people with moles and just any spots on their skin to get a skin check or at least check your skin regularly! Even a pimple looking thing that doesn’t go away could be something.
