Oh come on. No tankie would admit that.
They are either going “both sides are full of shit” in cases like Russo-Ukrainian war, or just believe the dictator at face value and disregard everything else as propaganda.
Back when I still used reddit - free-thinking individuals would call me a CNN talking mf every time I shared experiences that were contrary to their beliefs.
Felt kinda funny that sharing personal experience of using Russian social networks (before 2014, when eating shit was normal), for example, immediately painted me as Western propaganda agent.
Western private media is a centralized system where the news is gathered and edited (polarized) to fit a narrative. Soviet communism (and by extension most communist countries) are centralized authorities that take in information that is gathered and edited to fit a narrative.
It’s the centralized authority that is the problem, which is why both sides fight each other without recognizing the problem. Decentralize the power across the people. Remove algorithms and editors - teach critical thinking.
