      Yeah, kinda surprising, right, that they actually teamed up with Modretro, a company that actually cares about its customers. It’s a strange pairing, but I’m glad it’s happening. More Ubisoft titles are coming from Modretro.

    Rayman’s GBA port was… not good. I wonder how this one compares to it, sounds like a lot of effort went into it. Sure the screen is smaller, but if they adapted level design/sprite size well, that might work. GBA mostly tried to port the levels as-is, and ended up just removing some of them and having stuff hidden off-screen when it shouldn’t.

    They’re also praising the soundtrack, and GBA’s take on the Rayman OST was absolutely atrocious, so I can only imagine they did a better job.

      I had the GBA game back in the day. The GBC game is better, and was released very late in the console’s life, the GBA was actually out when this GBC game launched. Basically the GBC game is one of the best platformers on the console, much like Wayforward’s titles late in the GBC’s life.
