I tried to get it at this pop up vaccination clinic the school i work at was running but they were all “sorry you can’t get it you can only get the flu vaccine” because I “didn’t sign up in advance and there are limited supplies” and the more I think about it the more I think they just didn’t wanna give it to me because how the fuck are there shortages when literally half the country refuses to get it? literally every single one of my coworkers has said they’re not getting it. The anti vax moron shit has taken root DEEPLY.
Idk where you are, but entirely possible they didn’t order enough due to lack of demand. Turns out people willing to sacrifice other people for “normal” also consider themselves expendable.
We can’t even administer Covid vaccines in my state currently without a direct order from a doctor/nurse practitioner

Also I love how this shit was basically on the honor system, like, I filled out some paperwork but they didn’t even check an ID or anything so i could have just straight made up a name, address, insurance # etc and they wouldn’t have found out until they tried to run the insurance? lol
Depending on your state you should just try another location. Make sure to find the Novavax vaccine.

I brought my partner to the yearly clinic to get flu and COVID shots under their insurance. I asked them how much it would cost for me without insurance. They seemed annoyed that I was even asking and finally came back with a price of $190 for just the flu vaccine and told me to call someone billing for the COVID shot price. I’m assuming the COVID shot is even more expensive.
