Just got mine today. The website for scheduling only says Pfizer, but I called in and asked, and they said they had the new novavax. So be sure to go in and get it! They ask if you are over 65 or have immune issues; just say yes, they don’t require any evidence.
Do I have to lie and say I have a chronic condition in order to be eligible for it? Or does that asinine rule only apply to the RNA vaccines?
Yeah they don’t ask for evidence so just lie
My insurance doesn’t cover CVS because their parent company is a competitor.
I’d love to hear reports on which cities this is true in!

edit: If you’re not in Georgia, Louisiana, West Virginia, or Utah, there is no reason you should be asked for a prescription
this is amazing, thank you!!
is it free for the uninsured
i dunno, they didn’t ask me for any money and i don’t think they have my insurance on file. Dunno if its just my state. Call and ask
Is the novavax better
Yes its been scientifically proven now.
Confirmed: typically provokes a gentler reaction, likely because it has a lower antigenic dose.
Claimed but I really have not seen any good studies proving it or that there’s a real world impact: lasts longer / targets a broader spectrum / is more protective overall
Get whatever you can or want and keep wearing respirators.
my wife didn’t have any reaction. I always get chills the entire night after +headache the day after. Just got through it all and feeling okay now. Pfizer/Moderna always lasted a few days for me.
yeah, lasts longer and typically has less side effects
