Wanting to stop all the gaming communities I run so I can stop finding out about new and interesting games and wanting. A huge part of how I save money is plain old disinterest in and disengagement from things. Don’t care to watch the latest stream, not interested, don’t care what the newest trends are, I like my own fashion better… but keeping up with gaming news to try to have stuff to post on Lemmy exposes me to cool things I want to play and thus buy, even though I do not actually have the time. And I purchase when on sale. Might need to go seeking other mods to turn over to, but I also know that I might not find them and I do want to keep helping the Fediverse so…
