    I’m by no means a “tankie”, but it’s kind of funny seeing American liberals’ reactions to this, considering she’s conservative and not anti-USA. In fact:

    Writing on X, Machado dedicated the prize to “the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump for his decisive support of our cause!”

      This is kinda one of those issues where everyone involved sucks. Maduro rigging an election and crushing protests is bad. Machado being a pro-US neolib who’s willing to turn the country into a U.S. puppet is bad. I know there’s also leftist groups that Maduro has been working tirelessly to stamp out, but this Peace Prize feels like it’s going to be turned into a mandate for Machado who will likely continue suppressing those leftists. and honestly, the committee in Norway sucks for not having the balls to piss off Trump and give it to someone working in the pro-Palestine movement.
