In Ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse incurred by Maui reaches the island of an impetuous Chieftain, his willful daughter answers the Ocean’s call to seek out the demigod to set things right.
I get why they do it and I didn’t really mean it as critique of live action as such, or even the mouse specifically. They are a part of a bigger issue, but they sort of are the leader of the pack on this. What I am raging against is the general trend of regurgitating old safe bets. I get money and risk minimizing is the name of the game, but I’m getting pretty tired of it. Art is all about being innovative and breaking new ground and there’s not much of that coming out of Hollywood these days.
I could have used more words in my last comment and I get why my meaning didn’t really get through.
I also think you do a marvelous job in posting new releases and trailers. Absolutely no shade on you. I should probably watch more of the trailers you post. 😄 Thanks for the tip on films, I’ll check 'em out.
