The rest of the bit cited here:
“Everyone thinks of me as this horned-up pop star, but there’s really so much more to me,” she quipped. “I’m not just horny. I’m also turned-on, and I’m sexually charged, and I love to read. My favorite book is the encyclopedia. It’s so big, and it’s hard.”
Whatch’all think?
Is this sexual liberation, regressive, or should we just let women be horny?

Humans are generally horny. It’s not my cup of tea, but if she enjoys making everything about sex then she should be free to do so. It’s not like we didn’t have Britney and Xtina doing the same thing 15-20 years ago, or Madonna before that ya know?
A big difference is how much Madonna alluded and suggested to sex, while Carpenter comes right out and says “I want to fuck.” I suppose that’s a matter of different eras and different sensibilities. You’re right the outrage is about on par between them at the same stage in their careers.
I, for one, am so very pleased to see some positive changes on the sexual liberation front.
Yep sex sells, and Madonna always seemed in total control of it. As long as Sabrina is calling the shots, I’m fine with it
