Great lakes here, it’s snow time baby. Less exciting, my furnace failed yesterday and we had to leave my house because no HVAC contractors could get here through the weather. Finally have one now.
I feel for you. I had my hvac shit itself twice in the past 5 years - both on Christmas day in fact!
We had a city wide blackout on Christmas eve last year. Good times. At least my cousins have a good generator.

Shoveled the first 8 inches, probably 10 to go lol. Shower already froze while on a drip because the landlord won’t insulate the crawlspace under the house

Already went out and shoveled, looks like I’m going to have to go out and do it few more times today. THANKFULLY it’s pretty light and fluffy so I can just push it out of the way.
Lucky, we just have ice and sleet. Is up to about 1/4 inch on everything right now. Supposed to hit ~2 inches

It is absolutely crazy along with the lake effect coming into the equation. I wanted to do some errands today but I guess at most I’ll have to go out to get takeout (which thankfully there are couple placesthat is like 5 minutes walk)

We had the power go out twice today. Still waiting for it to come back. Just saw a truck with a spotlight pointed at the wires drive by, hopefully that means were only a few hours away from getting it back.
Its supposed to hit me tomorrow. I steady its just -30 and I gotta do a weekend worth of errands before work today cause shit may be closed for the next 2
