    wow, that’s a really strange trajectory for a tropical storm, they don’t normally make it that far north. another sweet effect of climate change I guess, hurricanes in California.

        I think with big rain events, most of the water just flows into the ocean and isn’t captured or absorbed.

          Maybe i’m wrong but i don’t think i’ve ever seen an image of California where every house has 55 gallon barrels under every gutter, seems like something that would like, help

    Okay this is me being a big dumbass, but aren’t tropical storms / hurricanes usually hitting the east coast? I always assumed the ocean conditions were such that the west coast wasn’t really susceptible to them but I guess I’ve never really learned why that is. Is this happening kinda wild?
