What does insufferably woke even mean? The left needs to be better at the trick where you adopt some weird word for your opponents and distort it’s meaning until it’s only definition is “bad”.
Idk, the way Tory is used as an insult is basically that to a lesser degree
I only see Tory used as “one who supports conservative policies”. Obviously it consequently also means you’re bad, but I don’t see it applied to people who don’t do the first thing.
Idk I’ve seen it used for someone who’s generally selfish or wealthy regardless of their political opinions
The one nuance is that a Tory is pro-monarchy which is why you don’t see it used for US conservatives but Trudeau for example absolutely is a fucking Tory and so is Keir
The problem is, Tory is bound to a specific political party in one country, which woke isn’t
