Republicans are talking about pardons now in prep for a SC vote along party lines, then say Biden is against the SC while trump followed the rule of law by going thru with his trial.
It’s why we should have done something about the SC long ago. Republicans keep pulling shit and we don’t take up the fight, then act surprised when they use it to their advantage. They were always going to do something big before the election, something where there isn’t a lot of time for Biden to act, and if he does he’ll be called a lame duck and they’ll frame it as 1/6.
The “boots on the ground” are complete idiots, but the ones calling the shots and writing the checks have been planning this shit for a long time and are smart.
We can’t afford to just always play defense.

It’s hard to really compare people that extreme but it’s always been my impression that Tom Cotton bought a lot more into the white supremacy fascist bullshit. Tom Cotton and Josh Hawley are the first two names that come to mind when I think genuine “Hitler had some good ideas” fascist.
Josh Hawley is a less famous pick, but I’m sure he has a lot of experience suitable to being a running mate.
