I’ve had this happen too, and honestly it makes me want to climb over the counter and strangle the cashier. Go fuuuuuuuck yourself.
It’s especially funny since without a mask I get ID’d maybe 20% of the time, but with one it’s like 60-70%. I haven’t been carded the majority of the time since I grew a beard, at which point I wasn’t even of drinking age.
Honestly on its face I disagree with the premise that stopping minors from buying alcohol is more important than masking. I would rather places end up selling to minors all the time than make people pull their masks down.

The most recent update on next-generation COVID vaccines is a month ago, when they headed into clinical trials. It’s exciting, but they will absolutely not be available to the public before 2024. Getting the 2023 COVID vaccine now is your best option, you will still be able to receive a next-generation vaccine once one is available.
Oh I’ll take any jab I can get, no questions there. I’m just wondering for people who are more vulnerable if it’s worth continuing to be a hermit or not.
