Reddit users have had a major hardon for tree law ever since somebody posted a thread about their neighbours cutting down their trees and finding out they were entitled to tens of thousands of dollars in compensation per tree.
Honestly, the indigenous nations should just sue the settlers for the trees they cut down. They’ll own the whole continent.
