See world anvil - a world building platform for inspiration but then use obsidian which is free to worldbuild a bit then write stories. Meditation is a cool one as well, slowing things down helps some times. Photography with your phone will take you outside more. You will feel limited without a camera but I think it can still teach you to see the world differently. Of you like game design you can still be a writer for games so pursuing this as a skill?
1234@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Which hobby is considered a cult or has cult-like tendencies?19·25 days agoWarhammer - people at a local club have told me it is “heresy” to even refer to one page rules - a newish and very innovative wargame. That’s the lifestyle players of course not everyone, the people who paint 20h a week while listening to Warhammer audio books play 8hs a week and do fuck all besides that. I have met loads of cool people in the hobby too, but omg those guys

You reminded me of a book I i used to have called “that’s why it doesn’t have to be in focus” or smth which featured quite a few artists need to find it again and see what types of pictures my brain enjoys at first glance. Hm…

As in I genuinely don’t know if the fediverse tech helps with ai spamming - my assumption is even if it ever became a real threat to mainstream social media or big tech it would be flooded by ai bots anyways
Do people think there is a reason this won’t happen to Lemmy eventually?

We do look at national geographic and documentaries from time to time, just thought I would ask in case there is an epic youtube (peertube??) channel with fun content you have come across.
