Christianity (the rites and added Roman things, not the supposed core of Jesus’ teachings) is a mess in itself, but then you have Evangelicals and megachurches and whatever other crazy and distinctively American branches they have over there that I’m not surprised that’s their only understanding of religion. Religion is about self-control, everything else is wind.
They’ll convenientlyskip over every part in scripture that demands morality and self-restraint, and holds them accountable to their actions. Oh, and literally all of Jesus’ teachings, lol. Merciless “Christians” are a little bit like “dry water”.
When it comes to scripture, it’s important to learn to separate the wheat from the chaff. If suddenly tomorrow he truly believed that God will judge him and that God is wise and just (I feel like any monotheistic religion has at least these attributes), he would have a mental breakdown cause he’d know he’s almost certainly going to Hell, lol. He’s too far away from just basic decency and morality, too in love with money, power and underaged girls, to ever take one step in that direction though. 🤷

True but also easily misled because many people will naturally gravitate towards many things that aren’t geopolitics, ethics and existentialism and with enough fancy words people can go rogue for long enough periods of time to cause great chaos… and now we have nukes and drones and man-made ecological catastrophes and whatnot, idk, it’s scary to say the least. Hopefully we collectively enter the next century with less confusion and less compounded, unexplored trauma. 🙏

I think he has some “baseline European racism” but I honestly don’t think he’s a foaming at the mouth with murderous intent, says the n-word with the hard r several times a day kind of racist. He’s just an extremely flawed sociopath on top of that. Openly saying racist shit is just like openly saying things like “God bless America” after a bomb-run on yet another sovereign nation: the dummies respond positively to it, and words are cheap, so why not do it? Why do you feel bad? Are their lives and opinions that important? I know that the human being is kind at his core, of course, but that nature can be easily veiled with enough wrong ideas. The reason for rampant immorality in some places and times is not because the human being is a natural antisocial, solipsistic deviant but because some cultures heavily uphold wrong things and have completely let go of the right ideas.

How do you think you pass over riches, drugs, sex, etc that you can easily acquire one way or another? You don’t cheat on your wife because of your beliefs, you don’t do coke because of your beliefs, you don’t undercut your employees because of your beliefs, etc etc. There literally isn’t any other way to curtail your hedonistic impulses (and other impulses, ofc) but to BELIEVE in something, a sentence or a group of sentences that resound within you at least, that tells you “no, it’s okay, I can hold it in cause if not I’ll regret it later”. It’s either that or, idk, locking yourself up in a room? 😅
Thesis? Substance? Do you hold any beliefs, are there any value systems or ideas you appreciate greatly and by which you live by? Or don’t you? Cause if you do, then your initial post is either a bad attempt at comedy or, idk, a social faux pas? Regardless, it’s false, cause you do understand how beliefs are important. And if you don’t, then why do you care? Why did you act out when I said values and ideas get in the way of hedonism and consumerism? It’s not your case, right? That would be shameful, but whatever. Do you count on your local leaders to be more morally upright and benevolent than your federal ones? Are the people in your state on average of better character and understanding of the world than the Americans that pushed for the country to be where it is today? And how would military resources be divided??? I feel like those are important questions, else you’ll just go from BIG AMERICA to many mini American warring states, all ideologically and morally compromised.
