Windows is the only operating system I’ve used that I’ve never had this problem with before.

BecomingTheFalcon@lemmy.worldto Confidently Incorrect@lemmy.world•new pronouns just droppedEnglish21·2 years agoDefinitely After Effects for the second one, but I’m lost on the first one?? Visual Studio was my first thought; but I’m assuming it’s video editing software. Vegas Pro is the only video editor I can even think of that starts with a V???
BecomingTheFalcon@lemmy.worldto Mildly Interesting@lemmy.world•Mother Nature Reclaiming an Old French Church1·2 years agoProbably not the game you’re thinking; but my first thought was it looked like a place from Hollow Knight
on Memmy and the spoiler is rendering fine for me
BecomingTheFalcon@lemmy.worldto Reddit@lemmy.world•/r/place going full-on French Revolution now6·2 years agoI was one of those mole people for a while before I made the jump to Reddit, and it was equally bizarre to me as an Imgur user that other Imgur users would get mad about all the Reddit content there. Like… that’s the whole POINT of this place isn’t it??

Thanks now I have to go watch that video again lol
BecomingTheFalcon@lemmy.worldto Memmy - An iOS client for Lemmy@lemmy.ml•no way to log back into instanceEnglish2·2 years agoSounds like Lemmy was hacked somehow last night, and their fix for it involved invalidating everyone’s user credentials, so you’ve basically gotta log out and log back in.
I don’t think there’s a way to log out in Memmy, so what worked for me was going to accounts -> change account settings -> edit account and then just clicking “save” without actually editing anything. I’ve seen several others say it worked for them too, so maybe give that a try.
BecomingTheFalcon@lemmy.worldto Mechanical Keyboards@lemmy.ml•1995 Lexmark Classic Touch Keyboard with Integrated Pointing Stick (Model M13, P/N 1403380)2·2 years agoEh I just don’t use laptops very often really. Most everything I do is on my desktop with a normal mouse.
BecomingTheFalcon@lemmy.worldto Mechanical Keyboards@lemmy.ml•1995 Lexmark Classic Touch Keyboard with Integrated Pointing Stick (Model M13, P/N 1403380)1·2 years agoI miss those little nub-mouse-things! I still to this day haven’t gotten completely used to using the touchpads that laptops come with these days.
BecomingTheFalcon@lemmy.worldto Videos@lemmy.world•This guy made a 32bit RISC-V compliant computer in TerrariaEnglish0·2 years agoI was curious how long it’d be before someone did something like this. The wires and components in Terraria seemed a lot more sophisticated than the Redstone in Minecraft to me, and I’ve seen some crazy shit done in Minecraft.
BecomingTheFalcon@lemmy.worldto Fediverse@lemmy.world•Lemmy active users grew by an astounding 1600% in JuneEnglish2·2 years agoFrom the outside looking in, the whole model seemed needlessly complicated. So it’s like there’s a LOT of reddit.coms over here? But they’re all the same? But also different? What’s the difference? Which one do I sign up on?
But then I get here and realized it doesn’t really matter that much, since you can more or less use all of them regardless of which one you sign up for.
Something about the way users try to communicate what Lemmy/Fediverse IS, is the complicated part. It’s like everyone wants to jump straight to the more technical details behind how the model works; which probably scares off a lot of the people who just want a place to pop in and talk about their hobbies.
What’s a fuck feather
