Techy people aren’t the most intelligent in other/all areas just because they have some technical expertise.
I have worked with, and interacted with people, all my life who are technically very intelligent in some specific way, and even been one of these people… Who thinks that one area of proficiency grants them unearned respect in other areas.
Eg." I’m great at maths therefore I’m logically infallible". Or “I’m an engineer, so I know exactly how society should function best”." I’m a doctor so my every opinion on everything is more important than yours".
Or you’re super well off and also don’t give a shift about everyone else

Like, you could just say Trump has done airstrikes at more than 9 times Biden’s average so far.

That’s odd.
Compare to the other post asking why Tate bro manosphere brainrot is on the rise. The kind of garbage that specifically discourages boys from higher order thinking because that’s not “alpha”. Some of the comments there basically boiled down to " not my problem, shut up".

Furthest along with Deutsch, because I did it at school (decades ago), not making huge progress gains with any of them because Duolingo, but it fits in my day so easily and the repetition is effective I think.

This is my recommendation too. I just watched again recently, and my dad is on his way out and I just bawled. Such a great movie.
