Dharkstare@mastodon.worldOPto Games@lemmy.world•I finished my first playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077. I absolutely love the setting for the game and hopefully they'll make a sequel. Cyberpunk is going to join the very small selection of games I31·3 months ago@Cptn_Slow I’ve only immediately replayed two other games. Mass Effect and Dishonored.
Dharkstare@mastodon.worldOPto Books@lemmy.ml•I just found out that Humble Bundle has a book bundle for Terry Pratchett's Discworld. A 39 book bundle that is redeemed through Kobo.com.6·2 years ago@YurkshireLad I hadn’t noticed that. I just checked the other book bundles and didn’t see any restrictions so I’m guessing it has something to do with this bundle coming through Kobo which would be odd since Kobo is a Canadian company.
Dharkstare@mastodon.worldOPto Books@lemmy.world•Just finished reading The Bullet that Missed by Richard Osman. I really enjoy this series and can't wait for the fourth book to come out.1·2 years ago@dresden Yeah. Goodreads lists one of its genres as Cozy Mystery which gives the books a nice, laid back feeling to them when read. The chapters are also short which I find helpful since I can fit some reading whenever I have time without having to worry about stopping mid-chapter.

It’s a murder mystery series. The fourth book in the series comes out September 2023.
Dharkstare@mastodon.worldOPto boardgames@feddit.de•Relatives were visiting over the weekend and we played Tsuro with the kids. It's really easy to learn, quick to play, and has some strategy to it.1·2 years ago@Spat_U_Later the simple game mechanic makes it really easy to explain to new players. It’s the only game the kids were able to easily pick up with a single explanation of the rules.

The box says 8+ and that’s probably accurate.
Dharkstare@mastodon.worldOPto Games@lemmy.world•Something I've noticed while playing [#totk](https://mastodon.world/tags/totk) is that the further I progress, the less I want to fight enemies. It's no big deal killing everything I see when my weapo3·2 years ago@echo64 I think the system wouldn’t be too bad if there was an easier way to get the base weapons. One of the things I really dislike is hunting for specific weapons. I’ve only found one of those deku spears in my entire playthrough. Also, having to break my weapons killing enemies so I can get their weapons seems counter productive.

@BotsRuinedEverything My opinion on games and mods is that the first playthrough should always be vanilla. This allows you to get a feel for what the game is actually like and allows you to provide an honest review for the game. It also lets you know what parts of the game need improvement so you know what mods to look for.
One thing I would suggest is to get the Phantom Liberty expansion. It fits really well with the rest of the game and adds a merchant to buy missed Iconic weapons.
