Because of that, I actually considered for a moment that some government official in denmark is called Lee Jae Myung. 😅

Die haben Trump wiedergewählt… Ich sag mal so: Ich glaube da nicht so an Einzelfälle. 😏

So viel Zeit muss sein.
But how are actual people doing?
I would say the rest of NATO should be able to hold against Russia for sure, especially in its current state.
I would just be worried about short-term problems because of disrupted logistics due to the US withdrawing. Or maybe that other countries would follow the US in leaving.
But in the end, that is just my guess.
What a stupid timeline, in which the above is true🙄
I agree. If we start spending half of our budget on the military, I’m going to lose my shit. 5% is some weird fantasy number, that somehow is actually discussed now? If not even the US, who are known for their excessive military spending, are even close to it, I’m sure you can have a proper military with a lot less.

First the settlers 2 and Caesar 3, a bit later and with a lot more impact Guild Wars (1).
So much this. I hate how slow or even backwards the EU is on some topics, but people forget so easily the crazy amount of good things it brought us as well, simply because they are considered normal now.
I’m strongly in favor of some deep reforms (and even think it’s one of the most important things to get on now), but I am definitely not in favor of just dismantling the EU.
Eh, a few days from now Trump will say something like “I had an amazing call with Putin. He is a great guy, Ukraine should surrender now”. Dude can’t remember what he said yesterday.
And the rest of the comments didn’t even bother to read more than the headline (as usual 😑).
I agree with you, but I would bet Slovenia is not very high on the “where to invade next” list😅
He wouldn’t even ban them. The current discussion is just about initiating the process with the Bundesverfassungsgericht (“supreme court”), which would then decide whether to ban them. But what do I know? 😑
Good advice, that I would definitely recommend in a place like Germany. But still: First rule of Usenet is to not talk about the Usenet. :D
I really got allergic to sensationalist headlines like this. “X goes nuclear and destroys Y”. I’m refusing to click on stuff like that…
Or use some proper firewall and allow access only to whoever actually needs it.
Reciting every day in school how great your country is, is peak brainwashing to me. When I learned about that, it was so weird to me.
I would go for a walk every day😅
