I’m going to preemptively put a /s up here since most of you don’t seem to understand sarcasm.

Don’t you understand you silly little man? Only the government should have a monopoly on violence that way when I take over the government I could use it to persecute all the people that I don’t like just the way it was used to persecute me. I have this intent because I myself am a good and just person. It’s just everyone else that’s evil and rotten and bad /s

If you’re wondering why conservatives are actively targeting trans individuals and non-us migrants, it’s because those groups have much harder times holding firearms legally and are much easier to bully without fear of reprisal. (Mental health and legal barriers to firearm ownership).

  • Jack, I would argue that creating and supporting puppet governments is less bad than invading all of your neighbors and directly being in charge of the attrocities. I would like your opinion on this article. https://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/2023/1/24/how-western-scholars-overlooked-russian-imperialism

Also I shouldn’t have to explain this but my man. WWII total war. Technically speaking, if your country was involved in the conflict, you were a military Target . Was the firebombing of Dresden a war crime? Was the firebombing of Tokyo a war crime? Total war is not nice. However, there is a difference between bombing, a civilian population that works at the factories and the factories and just bombing civilian targets. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were flattened much the same as the damage incurred by the firebombing race preceding them targeting war material and infrastructure All up and down the Japanese coasts in order to soften the country for a potential brutal invasion.

I would also remind you that every one of America’s imperial wars for the last 100 years has directly been because of our ambitions clashing with Russia’s and the fallout afterwards.

And how do you propose that we fund these hypothetical guilds? I’m not trying to be sarcastic. But it sounds to me like the idea for attaining the funding will be to have the members that have no guarantees and ability to make the funding to pay for the initial startup. I’m not saying this is impossible, but I am saying that this requires a large critical mass of people to form and organize voluntarily and work for possibly multiple years to bring this together before anyone can see a single red cent of benefit. This is rather hard in today’s society. It is even harder with modern remote work. To me, it seems that most unions died with globalization as the workforce was spread out and decentralized and disinvested making it harder to work together for a common goal.
