The assassin who targeted Trump in Butler also had his sights on Biden and other prominent Democrats. It’s not unreasonable to think that he might have had her best interests at heart considering the extremely tense political climate following those events and how she was elevated to center stage when he dropped out the race.

I’ve only ever seen a few of these “for a good time” public restroom stall solicitations in real life with an actual phone number attached. The resulting mental struggle was so real.
On one hand, my curiosity was overwhelming, hornybrain in maximum overdrive, and there was the potential for a new friend. On the other, I or someone else might be the butt of a cruel prank, I might be the target of a scam or robbery, or I might just be getting involved with a total stranger who may or may not be a serial killer.

I kind of wish that Chris Roberts would just take the hint and STFU about release dates for SQ42/SC. There were so many broken promises that any trust that they will hit targets is gone.
I can at least say that, based purely off of what I’ve seen of their gameplay trailers, 2026 is a more realistic release date for Squadron 42 that any of the previous target dates were. The question isn’t if it’s going to be finished by then, it will be if they are going to release it in a playable state at that time.
2027-2028 for Star Citizen is completely unrealistic. The game is nowhere near finished enough to consider that a date that will stick, even if you get all the people working on SQ42 to move over to SC after it eventually releases, the extra manpower can’t make up for the huge hole they’ve dug themselves into. They still have a years-long backlog of content to produce and show no sign of slowing down on offering new pledges. When they catch up with releasing all of the ships that people have paid money for and 10 years later still have nothing to show for it, then we can talk about release dates - ones that give enough time for proper bug fixing, polish, and gameplay balance. 2 or 3 years from now ain’t it.

I thought I was very clear - I’m not accusing him of cheating in the 2024 election, however… I understand the metaphorical prisoner’s dilemma that Trump was in, and the most optimal strategy was simply to cheat.
You don’t think a convicted felon winning every swing state is just a bit suspicious? Especially considering 4 years earlier he failed to capture that same electorate?
You don’t think him going up on stage afterwards and praising Elon Musk for his knowledge of voting machines wasn’t suspicious?
You don’t think him telling a crowd of his supporters that they won’t have to vote anymore isn’t just a bit suspicious?
We all know that every single one of Trump’s accusations is simply projection. He presumes that everyone operates on the same frequency as he does and will preemptively accuse them of the same bad behavior he is responsible for.
He zeroed in on mail-in ballots during the 2020 campaign, because that’s how he tried to cheat - to get states to throw out mail-in ballots that overwhelmingly skewed Democratic.
So he wins in 2024 and what does he do? Immediately says the opponent cheated by rigging vote machines. Hmm, gee I wonder what put that idea in his head?

We worshiped at the feet of capitalism and it birthed a twisted avatar to lead us that not only embodies all of the worst aspects of our society but actively seeks to expand them - greed, xenophobia, callousness, arrogance, hypocrisy, and violence.
He was elected, after all, by more than half of the american voters.
This common refrain does a lot of heavy lifting by assuming that Trump did not cheat to win (again).
I’m not saying he did, and him even coming close to being in office a second time is still a damning indictment of our society regardless, but the fact of the matter is that Trump had every incentive to do so (avoiding an almost certain prison sentence, plus multiple other lawsuits that could add on to it) and nobody bothered to challenge the results in the months after the election when Democrats still held power, so we’ll never know the truth (since records of any misconduct would have likely been destroyed by now).

Federal elections have never been cancelled or postponed in the history of the nation. Not even for the Civil War, or WWII. It’s mandated by the constitution.
The first two seem too loosely defined. Does it count if I just log on to e621.net, select latest/popular and then close the window down? Or do I actually have to watch porn and masturbate to completion? Does daily alcohol count if I drink a Bud Light, or make myself a fancy cocktail? Or do I need to get blackout drunk?
Toughest for me would probably be 5-8 hours of uninterrupted gaming (I don’t have the attention span for it anymore) and running on 5 hours or less of sleep.
I try not to be judgemental about such things. Everyone has different circumstances in life that might have prevented them from learning those skills. My fiancee, now in her 30’s, has never owned a bicycle and was never taught. She had a poor upbringing and so the funds were never there for her to be able to learn.
But man, I sure do wonder about the people whose parents did have the financial means for bike riding and swim lessons. Either the parents didn’t show any interest in teaching their kid how to do it, or the kid was not interested in leaning. Either way, it’s not really a good reflection on either the parents or the kid.
