Same. I don’t even recall setting it up until I stumbled on it one day and could track my wife. I pulled a few pranks until I revealed my hand but we’ve never turned it off. There’s nothing malicious about it and we’re both happy to keep it on.

Just to clarify, this doesn’t mean that the game is now DRM free. They just replaced it with Enigma. I’m not up to date with what Enigma does differently but it might be important to some.
I was introduced to WoT late too but before the TV shows. I started with Eye of the World and followed it all from there.
As for the slog people are warning you about, it may help to get the audiobooks if they’re a challenge to get through. However, you’ve got a while to go before worrying about that.
Enjoy the read, they’ll keep you busy a while!
Yeah, if you pirate and whatever… fair enough. Don’t expect Nintendo to want to deal with you. But at least you know that is the risk you’re taking.
The other group of people this will impact are those who dump (legally) their own games so that they don’t have to swap out carts all the time. It’s also going to suck for those who pick up a second hand console to find that their online access is restricted. I don’t see an issue with Nintendo blacklisting a device from their services should it go against their ToS, but this just seems way too easy of a trap to walk into.
🤦♂️ How did I miss that…
I migrated away from Windows to Cachy OS earlier this year and I’ve never been happier. Linux still isn’t perfect for gaming but it’s night and day compared to the last time I tried like 10 years ago.
To be in this position the car has already ignored several warning signs and presumably maintained a speed that doesn’t allow it to break in time. So 1) Don’t let the car be in a position to have to make this choice in the first place. 2) Say fuck it, speed up and send that old lady flying. May as well give her the exit of her lifetime in the painless way possible…
For the short term I see the Switch 2 as just a better Switch. The games I couldn’t play due to frame rate are now playable (a very much throw money at the problem solution). But otherwise I agree, the Switch 2 library is pretty thin and it’s not worth the money currently. There’s only so much Mario Kart one can play and everything else is cross platform at a premium price.
Like Cyberpunk is cool but I already have it on Steam. And I certainly don’t fancy paying the switch 2 tax for the new Rune Factory and Fantasy Life. Fantasy Life literally has a “because we can” fee lol. It’s £2.50 to upgrade to the S2 edition ffs!
I came back to this game after putting it down for over a month and my surprise when it said there was an update available right as I did. Sadly I still need to get to what, chapter 9, for the dlc to begin? But there’s some additional quality of life improvements that are welcome to see.
谢谢!I just learned to use “应该” from you haha. I wouldn’t mind seeing more random Chinese around here!
I created a QR generator website and you have no idea. I get emails from people saying they’ve printed the codes before discovering it goes to the wrong place (sometimes even to my own site!) and if I can fix it. No… check your codes before they go to print!
The funniest one I had caused me to get a huge spike of traffic on Christmas. It was so weird and left me clueless for weeks, until I got an email from somebody wishing to cancel a subscription.
I don’t sell subscriptions or anything at all!
Turns out somebody printed a QR code into a smartwatch instruction booklet that went straight to my site… The ad revenue was insane tho!
CachyOS! I was on Mint before this and had a bunch of issues running games. I think this was in part from going from NVIDIA to AMD (9070 XT).
Decided I had enough and instead of doing a simple Mint reinstall, I gave Cachy a go. I’ve had a little issue here and there but the experience has been beautifully smooth compared to Mint. It’s now set up better than I had it before and I’m over the moon with it haha.
I picked this up the other day and it’s great! The SimPlayers go on their own little adventures, party together, and fill the chat with nonsense. I had this one guy accuse another of being a bot.
It’s really worth trying if you’re into the traditional mmo gameplay (grinding). But without the fuss of dealing with real people and their own schedules that fight against your own. For anybody who wants to try it out, there’s a demo which covers the first area.
4: English (native), Spanish (learned at school and 1-10 is about all I recall), Mandarin, and Japanese.
As somebody who could never get into Dark Souls and Elden Ring and the like, Lies of P was great. The game is linear which some people may dislike but for me it was what I needed to remain focused. First game in a long time that I’ve seen to the end and loved every minute of it.
People say it plays like Bloodborne but I’ve never played that so I can’t say. Other than that the difficulty is so-so. Some bosses I could do on my first or second attempt, but there’s two that come to mind which took many…
There’s also some dlc coming out later this year, with a sequel also in the works. Good time to try it out I’d say.
Welp, this prices me out on principle alone. £75 for physical games in absolutely bonkers. Then they want you to pay extra so that BTOW/TOTK can take advantage of the new hardware. Not to mention their tech demo isn’t exactly free either.
Aside from all that, £395 for the console seemed pretty fair to me. I expected it to be a little higher honestly. Just everything else on the side is asking for too much.
Unfortunately it was due to being “friends only.” Player fleet I guess? I just couldn’t figure out how to filter them out before I got there and kept coming across them.
That range one caught me out once but I figured that one out since it tells you to come closer. I’m going to take that tutorial suggestion though. Cheers!
I keep trying to get into Elite but it never clicks for me. I was flying around earlier trying to dock into a station but everyone was refusing me so I closed the game. I’ll probably look up a new players guide before giving it another attempt later.
Cancelled mine too. Don’t particularly care about the AI. But I don’t need it and trying to justify increasing the price for it didn’t really work on me.
I’ve also gone all-in on Linux now. While I have a Mac, my gaming PC was left on Windows. Now it’s running Linux Mint and while gaming on Linux has a bit further to go, it’s night and day compared to 10 years ago. This time I feel like I can actually stick with it.
Was the same for me too. I remember getting DoW2 and being so disappointed. Then 3 came along… I’ve given up them making a decent game again.
Even that DoW remaster isn’t looking good. I’m holding out until I see the reviews but if they’re only going with AI upscaled textures for £30 then no thanks.
