Not suddenly, but gradually

I was speaking in general.
It’s quite obvious that people aren’t going to support Trump anymore if he can’t prove that he’s innocent. And the left isn’t any better. Perhaps Biden should have released the list right after his string of preemptive pardons, since he had nothing to lose anyway.
I was hoping he’d do that as the fallout would have been hilarious to watch.
“I lost a job, friendships, been smeared online, doxxed, and pressed charges on people who’ve stalked and harassed me for supporting him.”
The epitome of the leftist hatred that thinks they’re justified in ruining a person’s life just because of different beliefs, and then the irony of the outcome. Like the site which lists every Tesla owner that harassed and doxxed them until they sold their Teslas.
And all that had to be done was to wait it out. Same people who ridicule the “both sides” approach but know that “both sides” are on the Epstein list.
Left and Right are both corrupt, but we have to vote for the lesser of the two evils every term. What’s the point of the declaration of Independence then if we the people can’t protect our sovereignty from a tyrannical government lol
That’s alright. AOC will be the answer in 2028. Just because she’s “not Trump”.

Conservative here. Break out the list. Don’t care who goes to jail as long as there’s accountability.

Pretty ridiculous. Now you’re just grasping for anything to stick.
Presidents don’t always need approval for military actions, just ask Obama, Biden, Clinton.
It’d be a waste of money. 128 Democrats realized that. You just want him impeached because you hate him no matter what he does.
He can solve world peace and you’d still hate him. Oh wait…
Just to straighten everyone out, I’m heterosexual. …

Glad that they’re not being recognized as a government though.
Hellsfire29@lemmy.worldto Progressive Politics@lemmy.world•A friendly reminder, the USA took 4 Presidents, thousands of lives, trillions of dollar and 20 years to replace Taliban with Taliban.1·1 个月前Taliban would have taken over either way. Then President Ghani didn’t care to die.
Hellsfire29@lemmy.worldto Progressive Politics@lemmy.world•A friendly reminder, the USA took 4 Presidents, thousands of lives, trillions of dollar and 20 years to replace Taliban with Taliban.32·1 个月前In our defense, President Ghani abandoned his country and forces and allowed the taliban to take over. The ANA and ANP defected as well, which didn’t help matters any. He felt like he had no chance and didn’t want to add to the violence. Seeing the ana and the anp operate first hand, yes, they would have been obliterated.
When I was there, the locals appeared to want us there, but also were supplying Intel to the enemy. They knew when the taliban was going to attack, and when we patrolled. I get it, they wanted to stay alive and all.
I know people think we shouldn’t have been there but look at our exit, and how the locals clung to the planes after take off. They were afraid of retribution from the taliban but for 20 years, they had someone to watch over them.
However, the taliban takeover was inevitable. We could have won that war, but we said fuck it and left. Why? Because it wasn’t worth it anymore. And the US population thought they knew better. It lost or never had their approvaI. met a lot of cool Afghani locals. Hope they’re alright.
Just my 2 cents while I was over there for a year. And fuck the taliban. USA shouldn’t send any type of aid there. We left enough there as it is. They don’t call that area the “Graveyard of Empires” for nothing. If they want to live in the stone age, let them. They don’t need anymore outside influence.

Hellsfire29@lemmy.worldto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•"This is so dangerous!", laments the woman driving directly into a Critical Mass bike rideEnglish1·1 个月前I need to repair my bike. I do enjoy a bike ride every once in a while. But I do stop at 4 way stop intersections and yield to cars, because I know I’d lose in a game of chicken.
If the protestors engage the national guard soldiers? May God help both of them. I know the nasty guard won’t shoot unless their lives are threatened, so I hope no one does.
Hellsfire29@lemmy.worldto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•"This is so dangerous!", laments the woman driving directly into a Critical Mass bike rideEnglish1222·1 个月前This will make people hate bicyclists more than they already do. Maybe the bicyclists should be more weary of a 2 ton vehicle and safeguard their own lives. And stay on bike paths. And the bike lanes.
One thing I hate is when there’s a dedicated bike lane/path and the bicyclists are driving in the middle of the road instead with the 2 ton+ vehicles and then wonder why people hate them.
Maybe the bikers should be as considerate as the drivers.
Don’t blame the soldiers. Blame the politicians.
I went to Afghanistan. Does that mean that the war is my fault?
Newsom has the same power to control the situation as much as Trump. Both sides pander to their base.
Also, fuck Bush for extending our tour just for more soldiers to die.
I can understand deporting violent criminals. But people who are contributing to society in a positive way? Seems counterproductive to the mission of protecting communities.
Illegal immigration is still a crime, however. People who arent a criminal after that should be given a second chance if they’re productive members of society.
Oh well.
Well, people don’t like posers or wearing a shirt just because of a trend. Those hardcore fans can be toxic. Never seen an iron maiden fan do that though.
Watching stolen valor videos on YouTube is fun to watch thou. Especially those who are truly committing it. People just wearing a camo jacket for style or even pants are a bit overboard.
Reminds me of a scene from the Deer Hunter.
M137 understood what I meant.
I believe that people are born with the same primitive instincts as everyone else, (survive and reproduce) but they gradually begin to develop their own feelings and sense of being. Some natural, some by trauma, etc, overcoming the expectations of your parents being the biggest hurdle.
I’m just simply saying that people aren’t born knowing they’re a part of that community until they’ve come to a realization or a spark.
Just my opinion. Just how I observed a family member and his experiences. Sadly, no one accepted him and he’s gone now. But I read his journals about how he felt, came to being, etc afterwards. Just wanted to understand.
