Well, I’m pleasantly surprised to see it follows the Bachman (King) plot better than the Arnold version, which makes it far and away superior in that it makes the dystopian lack of privacy so much closer to reality today. I enjoyed all of the Bachman books more than most of King’s other works. But, that said, it has been long enough since I read them that I know I won’t be ejected from my suspension of disbelief by any deviations from the novel this movie takes. I do wish that Hollywood would stop the remake merry go round, but if this is an improvement over the 80s cheesy action flick, then I probably will still enjoy this one.

I guess it technically could be. Certainly sounds like a viable cure for stupid, at the very least.

Did you choose the kit? Pro or standard? How do you feel about the results vs manual operation? I’ve been on the fence about it because I’d want the pro model and that’s half the price of my classic. But, if this brings it to the level of its $2k sibling GT, that definitely seems worth it.

Too much oil. Make the coat of oil nearly invisible, then season upside down so it can’t pool up like that. The sticky spot will get better. Just use it or season it again. The good ol’ “cook some bacon in it.”

Though I follow the spirit of your message, doing so would only validate the treasonous behavior and ratchet up the madness. There is nothing lawful about so many things happening today, but we must do better than to stoop to the same lawless tactics.

Each time I read another story about them finding how to regrow teeth, I’m reminded of Star Trek 4 where the little old woman grew a new kidney thanks to McCoy giving her a pill and proclaiming they’re in the dark ages.
