Voyager’s been my favorite lately but today I installed Avelon and I’m LOVING it.
With a few minor tweaks it’ll take the lead.
Never skimp on what you apply ON or put IN your body.
Went in knowing very little about it.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. A wonderfully cast family-centered origin story with the right amount of humor and action. George Lopes stole every scene he was in.
As a Latino, you can feel the influence of having a director and key cast members being Hispanic throughout. I don’t know that it’s ever been done as well or genuinely, for a film in this genre.

I was just having a conversation with my neighbor about how I don’t have time anymore for conversations, relationships, art, etc. if it isn’t inspiring or leaves you better for having experienced it.
I think we can’t overstress the importance of the stories that are in the zeitgeist. This film came up. We need more stories of a hopeful future. Not just because so much in the world is bleak, but because I believe the stories we tell and hear affect the world we build.
