

Oh its from having an extreme calorie deficit, theres a number of side effects like that (hair loss is another that starts happening about 2-3 months in when you have a crazy calorie deficit). Yeah I think the best thing is to be really purposeful with protein intake and getting exercise so your body doesn’t start eating away at muscle thinking its not needed. I’m pretty sure its a bigger problem the more muscle mass one has, but where I’m at I should be fine as long as I make sure to supplement protein (if my hunger is too abated) and hit all the muscle groups regularly.
