We already arrest people for animal abuse, eating meat just isn’t considered animal abuse by current society. If society needlessly killing animals as animal abuse then those responsible for killing billions of animals each year from factory farms will have a high price to pay.

The fact that now supermarkets have entire vegan sections or vegan variants of non-vegan products is proof of a deman for vegan products. People that could be spending money of meat, are spending on vegan alternatives instead.
