I’d love to see more in depth archival features like deep link archiving and archiving resources behind authorization. My use case is more archiving than bookmarking.
Isn’t this the kind of thinking that got Trump elected? Kamala ignored the war in Gaza, so the other side is better? Doesn’t say the dark side isn’t exactly the same… so it must not be?
I don’t see it that way. If there’s always something you have to be doing, then that’s the life you chose. Yeah, there’s some things that are usually necessary. Your job will take a third, sleep another third and the rest is up to you to decide. If the remaining third is spent doing things you don’t like doing the majority of the time, then change it.
My life is fucking boring, but I can say I spend my third doing exactly what I want. There’s odd things in there that come along and take time away but they aren’t a constant. Want to live this life? Say no, do less, chill more. Life is what you make it.
Yes, please do all these things, I’m le tired.
The family is all dead and a single parent, who still believes they are with them, orders pizza for their now long dead family. Delivery driver shows up to a house that hasn’t seen life in ages and immediately realizes the situation.

Probably. Work flawlessly? Questionable. It needs to be built (as with every OS update) for every specific device. The developers only do builds for pixel devices (faq). You can take the source and build it for your device. I have no idea how you’d even begin to do that or what that would entail, but most probably, you’d to be able to add drivers for things like fingerprint sensors or cameras unless you are ok with losing access to some functionalities.
My understanding is that phones are hard to support with one “do all” operating system. Thats why all manufacturers take AOSP and modify it with their own code - specific to each device and make builds for each. A bit different mentality to what we do on PCs, where one build of an operating system will just work everywhere.

Never had an update break on headless Debian. Even when switching from 12 to 13. That shit is solid.
I’m getting used to arch on my main desktop and I still can’t figure out why the hell “sync” is the wording pacman uses for updating or why ‘y’ is refresh. Sync refresh upgrade my ass. I will admin, it is fast.

I wonder if that site pings an IPv6 address on the virgin network and updates the output automatically based on the ping result.
Oh man.
One = chill small little fire.
Two = big fire, no one’s getting cold.
Three = call the fire department cause we’re about to start throwing big shit on this flame.
PieMePlenty@lemmy.worldtoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•Thank you Tim Apple, who by the way is looking a little pudgy12·17 days agoComing from a non-US centric point of view: I generally believed in the idea that the government does everything it does for the good of an entity. Sometimes that entity is the people (legality of cannabis), sometimes it is one person (presidential pardons) and sometimes its a company (bailouts). We can argue how ‘good’ any of these actions actually are, but thats beside the point. I always knew there were backdoor deals and some companies or some people got special privileges (corruption). But that was always behind closed doors. Rarely did it leak to the public stage and when it did, news coverage and accountability followed (usually).
However you may feel about government, it generally works on the principles of law. The ideal was; If you followed the law, you had the same opportunity as anyone else doing it.
I still can’t comprehend how Trump completely flipped this around. There is no semblance of just democracy and unjust corruption anymore. Giving the president actual gold in exchange for an exemption of law while openly broadcasting it. The ideal is broken and shattered on live TV. Justice is now blind because Trump is pissing on her face and she cant look at his limp dick anymore.
Tombs were robbed since whey were first made. The pyramids had protective measures to keep them away, ask yourself why they’re put them there in the first place. Abbott Papyrus is a document from 3000 years ago that describes tomb robbery. Fact is, people have been thieving ever since someone had something more than the other.
