I am using Tutanota as my e-mail provider and it’s quite OK.
I am happy with my Epson consumer device, it works out of the box.

1·3 years agoJust be aware what you install. Check the developer name and the whole path.
Some apps on F-Droid are limited for example but you can download the full featured app from Github. Later updates are anyhow cryptographically signed.

6·3 years agoYou can already do a lot!. Switch of all the invasive features from google. (Remove advertising ID, switch of any web and app history etc.) Install F-Droid and only use the “good” apps. Put the evil apps in a separate work profile (Shelter app). Look at the configurations of the apps and opt-out of tracking.
