Is it one of the more recent ones, i.e. one with a T2 chip? If so, T2 Linux might be for you. Got Arch running on a 2019 MacBook Pro this way. The WiFi kernel module causes quite a few issues, so it’s a bit of a pain to install and even after that, WiFi will stop working occasionally, but reloading the kernel module helps if that happens. Definitely far from perfect, but still somewhat usable.

I think it’s also possible and easier to install on older MacBooks without the T2 chip, but not sure since I have no experience with those.

  • Maybe, maybe not. I don’t really like to judge people based on hypothetical assumptions. They are shit for various reasons, no doubt about that and I don’t defend proven shitty actions by them, let alone the organization as a whole, I just think we should keep discourse factual, even if it’s about groups we understandably don’t like.

I didn’t and won’t argue against your second source. I know Hamas uses violence, sometimes even torture, against queer Palestinians, I’m not denying that. And the first source is just one of maybe a few instances, which is why I added “at least not systematically”. The original comment just made it sound like Hamas systematically kills a lot of queer Palestinians or even to a similar extent as Israel killing Palestinians / Palestinian children, which just isn’t the case.

Warum? Und was Israel angeht: Was ist daran problematisch?

  • Why do you think that Jews don’t deserve to have a home?

Because there is no need for one.

Why does every other race and religion in the world get a home but Jews don’t?

Do you think the people of each ethnicity looked at a map and said “Yup, that’s where we’re gonna settle”? Ethnicities (there are no human races) develop naturally within a region, for the most part at least. And why do religions need a home, let alone deserve one?
