Edit2: The blog post seems to be multi lingual. It was in german on my first visit, but is also available in english. So this request is basically pointless… There is a language selector at the bottom right corner of the page.

Ist ganz witzig, aber erstmal ist ja nur eine Streife mit zwei Personen vor Ort. Die verfolgen und stellen den Tatverdächtigen und müssen dann mit dem arbeiten, was sie dabei haben, nicht mit dem was im Auto ist.

Das man bei jedem Einsatz mit Messer dann eine spezialisierte Einheit hat/schickt ist unwahrscheinlich. Normalerweise fährt man ja nicht gleich mit der halben Wache zu so eine Meldung und dann überschlagen sich Ereignisse sicherlich auch schnell.

Wäre dass dann nicht mindestens der zweite Grund seinen Hut zu nehmen?

Leute, ich bin kein Freund von der zunehmenden Polizeigewalt, aber weil Messer absolut verheerend sind, wird die Polizei geschult ab einem gewissen Mindestabstand zum Selbstschutz zu schießen.

Ein paar Meter sind schnell übersprungen und ein Messer so ziemlich unkontrollierbar und der Schaden groß. Nicht umsonst wird beim realistischeren Kampfsport auch gesagt: lauf weg.

Dass man den Deeskalationsprofis nicht tödliche Mittel geben muss, ist dem unbenommen. Ob ein Taser den Mindestabstand unterschreitet weiß ich nicht. Zu Reizgas ist bekannt, das einige unter Adrenalin keine Effekt davon getragen haben.

Ist meiner Meinung nach also ein schwieriges Thema was nicht nur Schwarz oder Weiß ist.

(Abgesehen davon fehlen uns Bodycams und eine neutrale Auswertungsstelle.)

It is a shame, that fairphone and other manufacturers don’t match the minimum security requirements for GrapheneOS.

They mentioned a german video conf. solution. I’m quite confident it is opentalk.
