  • I think that would be a good idea. People clearly prefer to learn the news differently tk how they used to. You might say it’s gone through 3 stages

    • Newspapers
    • Radio and Television introduced, Newspapers still popular
    • Internet makes Twitter/Reddit a more efficient way to locqte articles, and people don’t need to tune in tk scheduled news when they have YouTube videos, for instance.

One of my favourite news sources right now is TLDR news. ,aybe stuff like the BBC needs to get their programming more in-line with this, allowing people to select the stories they listen to qnd thus spend less time watching/ listening to the news.

  • I’ve been flip-flopping between being caffeine free (for stints of 1 week) and having about 2-3 cups every day.

Dropping caffeine feels like your body realises it has a sleep debt to fulfill, and it seems to result in a bunch of headaches at first. Picking it up again after quitting can also cause me headaches.

I feel healthier when not drinking it - especially in the bowels - and having a cup in the evening after a period of not drinking it leaves me awake well into the night.

It’s annoying because everyone seems to agree that reddit is shit (even people who use it addictively) [yeah that used to be me lol] But people decide it’s sh*t for different reasons… I’m assuming what you say is true, as it rings true, and that means she’s basically pretending to be pissed off at it for “based” reasons when she’s actually annoyed people point out her manipulating the site for profit - one of the main gripes people have with reddit.
