You misunderstood what the app is, it’s only a webview (a stripped down webbrowser). Its setting for webaccess is whether it will load websites outside of hugging chat in the webview.

Maybe once a month, I’ve never actually witnessed it, I just sometimes find traces of what looks like a feathery murder scene. And she sometimes brings me a (dead) bat…
My weekend mornings are doing it for me this summer. I just sit in the garden watching the birds, and my cat running after them, while I drink coffee for at least an hour.
I’ve been using Linksys E4200’s with (Fresh)Tomato firmware for about 10 years now. Recently one failed and I think, due to all the claims about new wifi “versions”, the more modern devices should provide better performance, so I’ve been reading some stuff every now and then and looking for a new setup.
People with knowledge ™ who I semi-trust all seem to point at different devices for the wired and wireless part. Some even say you should split the router from the switch (so you can do a managed switch with vlans and stuff) but I will never use any of that and even my E4200’s can handle vlans just fine. I do get that using dedicated access points has its advantages but it does get quite a bit more expensive.
On the other end, a lot of brand names are now using Chinese chips in their routers and devices like the GL.iNet MT6000 seem to be one of the current favorites on the openwrt forums (and seems to be a very powerful device). I think I’m still going to go for a separated setup but I’ve got no clue which devices yet.
Fwiw, Louis Rossmann recommends some things.
Such a weird thing that it essentially discriminates Mozilla based browsers though, I’d expect bots would follow the most-used-approach. So yeah, this does not make me happy…although the anime-girl kinda does
Although I agree that if it’s a small business, it’s better to outsource it to an established business but if you’re serious about doing it yourself, check out OpenDesk/OpenCode. Also, why use your own hardware? A VPS is much more reliable.

Biggest hurdle would be timing, if you want it sound right… Every speaker should be in sync as much as possible

1·11 months agoI run it on bare metal, had no issues whatsoever, if I recall correctly. This was some months, less than a year, ago. Just installed Lyrion over the LMS (love that it’s still LMS ;)
Basically every serious mailserver package has imapsync included. I don’t know what kind of hardware you’re running and what you expect from the server doing the copying but running webmail, search indexes, antivirus, etc will cost you ram. There are solutions aimed at keeping backups of your mail though, I can’t give you recommendations, the only thing I remember is that they don’t give you a normal webmail or imap, instead you get a web-interface aimed at searching through the backup(s)
I adored my HP Veer, I bet that if I get a working one in my hands I’ll blind-type flawless again in seconds, I was better on that thing than any full size keyboard. Best phone I’ve ever had because of the keyboard and the ease of customization when you know Javascript. Screen was a bit too small (I consider every modern phone way, way too big) and speed could’ve been better but wasn’t bad.
Logitech media server (squeezebox) with the don’t stop the music plugin. It can use different services for context aware playlists and I found last.fm to be a lot better than Spotify. MusicIP used to be a thing on LMS as well, and probably can still be used, that’s completely local but analyzing new tracks is slow since MusicIP servers are down (MusicIP got bought by Spotify ages ago).
I don’t know for sure but I think it’s the current, higher voltage will bridge a bigger gap/higher resistance but a human body doesn’t have that high of a resistance and car batteries are capable of providing plenty of current (I think?)
That’s a different problem (that doesn’t really exist where I live)
This is why I trust motorcyclists more than cars. A manual doesn’t change this problem, a motorcycle does.
Walking, or running, is good for your brain in almost every way. My depression was/is coupled with social anxiety so it was hard to get myself to do it but things like walking to the grocery store instead of biking/car helped me change that into ‘I’ll take a detour’.
The worst hobbies for me are the ones that are done sitting still, or anything that ‘creates’ a different ‘reality/world’. For me that was anything behind my pc. Woodworking is better for me and allows me not to worry about social stuff but walking is definitely better for my brain.

I’ve got issues with this as well, not for how my nails look. I’m a guy and work with nasty stuffs in my spare time so I regularly have black edges. But I can’t stop myself during boring meetings, I need the stimulation to keep myself focused, which I’m kinda ok with but I end up with my pocket full of pieces of fingernail and the idea that some people find that gross…which causes stress, which causes me to pick at my fingernails more…
