Didn’t they just increase the Sportsnet subscription price by 30% too?
Thoughts and prayers.
You do need to buy a membership to shop though. Meaning you 100% support them even when you don’t buy TP.
Depends on season. I have seen people rant about $25 melons at Costco … in February. 🤦🏻♀️
That happens a lot I find. Apples for example. Sign says “Product of Canada” and then it’s mostly US apples and a few Canadian ones mixed in. Not just on top but literally mixed throughout. This isn’t a case of we got a new shipment and the few (Canadian) left were placed on top of a new (US) delivery! It’s intentional.
Also, lemons always came with stickers. I used to hate these when washing and zesting. Total pain in the ass. Now ZERO lemons (because US) have stickers but all limes (Mexican) do! I wonder why 🤨
They probably don’t have to go far. I haven’t seen any store that hasn’t mislabeled.
I have heard of these: https://www.canadawestboots.com/
I think it’s a totally personal decision where you draw the line.
You could also say what about a Canadian company that has a major US shareholder? Will you research that for all products? You dig as far as you need to feel comfortable with your purchases.
For me it depends on what it is. For example meat I only buy local. So even out of province or any part of my province doesn’t do it for me. I stick with our county and farmers I know. No need to go further as we have excellent farms here. Eggs? Only from my own chickens. Toilet paper? Totally different story. So is cat food which I still buy even when it’s made in the US because my cat won’t eat anything Canadian we tried 🤷🏻♀️
I’ll look them up. Thanks! That’s really a problem here in Canada. We always say the raw material in bulk, let others produce value add products. Guess who rakes in the money? Not us. It’s time for some Canadian products!
Do you know any who makes mustard here?
Thanks for mentioning unwatched. Didn’t know it, trying it out now!
Really don’t care about length if it’s good. I hate they went back to releasing an episode week by week though. Give me the whole damn thing to binge. I can manage my own time thank you very much.
That’s 70% tariff for you!!! 🍊 🤡
I haven’t really looked for a Canadian replacement to be honest. We have 4-5 different types of mustard in the fridge at all times. I just switched to a Germany mustard that we already use. Here is a link: https://www.londondrugs.com/products/kuhne-mustard-in-a-beer-mug-250ml/p/L1430185 The Kühne brand seems to be available in most supermarkets here in Alberta. There are better brands in specialty stores but this one does it as a daily for me.
Unfortunately no. They are honourary Canadians maybe after they bailed us out here with the tomato farmers but their mustard is still a no go for me.
US company but I still buy them. They bailed us out and I haven’t even seen any other ketchup company. Choice here seems to be Heinz (over my dead body) or French’s. So I go with French’s. Tasty too. However French’s yellow mustard is off the list. The red maple leaf on the bottle is misleading. Yeah they use Canadian mustard seeds but it’s made in the US. Nope, not buying. Especially since I always thought it’s made in Canada but now I look closer …
That’s what I am hoping this is. All just a big game for more time to pivot away from the USA. What we need is time time time.
One Degree rolled oats are Canadian. Also sponge towel instead of bounty paper towels.
