100% better migration options. I want to take my posts with me, I want people going to my old profile to redirect to my new profile. I feel like I’ve been stuck on my Mastodon instance, which is very small and is not tended to by the admins a lot, because of the lacking migration functionality.

Baldur's Gate 3@lemmy.world•Hotfix #7 Now Live! Version Number: 4.1.1.3735951English
4·2 years agoI agree! To continue the argument: DOS2 was, at the time, a big hit for Larian. Its one of the main reasons why they could expand the way they did. I think that the way Larian does development is not very conducive to creating DLC. If they do, I suspect it will only be released at the end of 2024 at the earliest.

7·2 years agoIf the way they supported their previous games is anything to go by, I wouldn’t expect any DLC. there was no DLC for divinity original sin or D:OS 2. This is the game, if you want more of it you start a new run, maybe on tactician mode, with new builds.
I’m really happy with the interface to be honest, I was using Voyager up until now but Boost is my new go to!

Baldur's Gate 3@lemmy.world•A Perfect Storm - what a crock of shit
1·2 years ago- there is no evidence to suggest that Larian doesn’t value diversity in their hiring process, so your point is moot
- quotas demonstrably work. https://www.forbes.com/sites/lizelting/2022/09/22/stop-saying-quotas-dont-work-because-they-demonstrably-do/?sh=24a840845b9c
- you seem to want to bring conservative political talking points to a baldurs gate forum. Why? Please stop.

World News@lemmy.world•What countries will heat up the most in a 2°-warmer world: the need for air conditioning will skyrocket, with Africa and Europe hit hardest.English
31·2 years agoWhere does this idea come from? European agriculture is much more resilient to cold than it is to heat, as it has historically developed to withstand harsh winters.

6·2 years agoI joined the MTGzone.com instance because I used to use Reddit for MTG news 80% of the time anyway, andnnow I have a nice local feed for magic the gathering stuff and a federated feed for everything else. It’s great!
There’s very extensive documentation on running your own server: https://solidproject.org//self-hosting/css
And this will answer some of your questions: https://solidproject.org/about
Solid is a specification made for other apps to run on. Here’s a list of apps that have been built on top of solid: https://solidproject.org/apps
This is what a lot of people do when they create a Single user instance. You can learn more about that here: https://calebhearth.com/running-mastodon
There’s other projects that are trying to implement your ‘Earthling’ idea. There’s the Solid project for instance: https://solidproject.org/

Um omg this is amazing news haha! I should have followed the mastodon updates more closely it seems, I had no idea we could do this now. Thanks so much for bringing that to my attention 😀
