I think, for better and worse, the ease of access to the internet has finally given enough people a broader perspective at which to view geopolitics. That combined with deteriorating economic prospects for the middle class means not enough ppl can be swayed by the mostly emotional beats the dems have relied on for ~15 years

I feel you. It’s funny, I stopped playing soulsborne games after ds1 through 3. Gonna get back into them soon. I think Ds2: SOTFS would be cool to check out if you can get it on sale. I think the diehard community even does “return to drangleic” events that make the pvp/co-op more active as well.

DS2 made some aspects of the combat a bit more deliberate than the first game. It added a stat called adaptability that affected rolling. Back stab fishing was also made less viable. Magic wasn’t as insanely OP akin to something like dark orb spam in Ds1 but still pretty powerful. Don’t really like soul level (overall level of your character based on total souls collected rather than matching you pvp wise based on your stat level)

There was a period of time where I played nothing but Dark Souls 1 and 3 (same theme) and thought about these
