droidpenguin@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Automakers must build cheaper, smaller EVs to spur adoption, report saysEnglish2·2 years agoThe weight issue is why I’m looking forward to (hopefully) seeing the Aptera make it to production. Being super aerodynamic and lighter weight so that it can charge up to 40 miles a day on solar alone. Lithium batteries would be better suited for this form factor.

droidpenguin@lemmy.worldOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What was the last dumb phone you had before your first smartphone?2·2 years agoDo you still use an iPhone? I switched to Android after 4 years with my iPhone 5 and still use Android today.
droidpenguin@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•I feel like I need a separate body towel (big towel), and 3 other small towels for hair, face, and hands. 4 towels in total. Is that normal?31·2 years agoIf I’m home, I use just one towel and keep using it for like a week or two. If I’m in a hotel, they usually have so many towels so I’ll use the whole variety and fresh ones each day. It’s nice, but too lazy to constantly be washing towels when I’m home lol.
droidpenguin@lemmy.worldOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What was the last dumb phone you had before your first smartphone?1·2 years agoYep! Could even use the tiny outside display as a viewfinder!
droidpenguin@lemmy.worldOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What was the last dumb phone you had before your first smartphone?2·2 years agoThis small form factor running Android would be very cool! Despite a small screen, it’d probably work well enough since you wouldn’t have a software keyboard taking up 50% of the screen real estate. The e-ink keyboard is a good compromise of having dynamic changing keys but still have the tactile feedback.

droidpenguin@lemmy.worldOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What was the last dumb phone you had before your first smartphone?4·2 years agoOh ya I remember wanting that one a lot! I think it was too expensive for me at the time, so ended up with the alias 2 but I envied anyone who had one of those.
My elementary school in Utah, we also called them portables. Ah the memories!
