It all came about as responses to the counter culture revolutions of the 1960’s and the union dominance in the 1950’s and done in order to have greater political control of various segments of the population by slicing them up into smaller and smaller cohorts using what we call “culture wars” today. examples of the private institutions doing this includes organizations like the heritage foundation which created project 2025 and examples of public institutions doing this are the gop which captured the evangelical vote during the 70’s; both of which have direct control to impose institutional policies on the gov’t.
