Puking on grass is safe, grass is full of microbes, fungus, and worms that will break it down. Puking on a hard surface you live near is bad. It’ll stay there a long time spreading disease.

I used to have testicles, and I can confidently say it’s possible to squeeze a mosquito to death between your fingers while it drinks your blood.
I’ve also heard legends of people flexing their muscles to pop a mosquito from the blood pressure. Someone should try using an erection to kill a mosquito.

The ability to create dispassionate political systems is, in nature, a uniquely human ability. Wolves and ants have political systems, but the systems rely on direct and intentional involvement, at least as much as anything an ant does can be intentional.
Ants don’t have recessions, or gas chambers, or nuclear bombs, or greenhouse gas pollution, or strip mining, or seafloor dragging. That’s a human invention.
Without him there’d be one less transphobe on Lemmy. I hope he gets the money he needs to have a home and I also hope he leaves forever.

1·2 months agoI was going to point out crew might just prefer to use chopsticks normally, but then I remembered that my wooden chopsticks are lacquered and wouldn’t produce splinters. But I guess the replicator could make chopsticks for traditional asian dishes even if the refrectory has reusable cutlery, just like Japanese restaurants provide disposable chopsticks to white people
