Like it repeatedly gave me recipes with my allergens with a note to check package for said allergen and other weird things like claiming frozen vegetables take 10 minutes to roast in the oven. It’s useful for certain things but it’s not really intelligent.

Supposedly it was Danny Masterson that recruited them. Some of them claim to no longer be involved with the church, but celebrities have been known to lie about that before, likely a church PR move to convince people they’re totally not a cult and that people can leave any time.

You can find the pilot script online. It’s pretty bad.

(Canada)English6·2 years agoAlso worth mentioning that if you have ADHD, you get those same protections. Idk how it is in Canada where OP is, but in the US, adult autism evaluations can be hard to obtain and insurance typically will fight coverage but ADHD evaluations are easier and usually covered.

frogfruit@discuss.onlinetoPersonal Finance@lemmy.ml•[AskFinance] How often do you eat out, and does that impact your finances?English3·2 years agoWe bought a countertop convection toaster oven that preheats within ~5 minutes. As a family of 2, it has pretty much replaced our oven usage, but a larger family might not like it as much. It can fit up to a 9x13 pan so that’s a small sheet pan or most casserole dishes.
It’s really nice that it doesn’t make the kitchen hot. It can also air fry decently, not as nice as a standalone air fryer, but it’s way more versatile. Ours is a ~ $300 Calphalon, pricier than most, but we use it almost daily, and the cheap Oster one we had before only lasted about a year. I’m sorry this sounds like an ad.
frogfruit@discuss.onlinetoPersonal Finance@lemmy.ml•[AskFinance] How often do you eat out, and does that impact your finances?English11·2 years agoAbout once a week. We’re more concerned about the impact on our waist lines than our finances.
One thing we try to do to save money is to order meals for leftovers. As an example, a $14 burger will almost always be one meal, while a $14 Thai curry typically lasts for 3 meals or more. Even within specific restaurants, bowls or plates offer more bang for your buck than sandwich entrees.
We also often roast vegetables or other side dishes in the oven while waiting for delivery, mainly for health but it’s also typically cheaper.

frogfruit@discuss.onlineto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•People who keep journals or diaries, do you hand write or type?1·2 years agoI thought that too. I bought a rocket book to make it super easy to scan and organize. But I never bothered to actually scan anything. It’s just one of those things I will never get around to, so I just switched back to typing. Idk maybe ymmv if you don’t have really bad ADHD like I do 🤷
frogfruit@discuss.onlineto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•People who keep journals or diaries, do you hand write or type?2·2 years agoUse habit stacking to make it part of your routine. Just start doing it after you brush your teeth or whatever in the evening. You can also set a reminder with Google tasks or whatever your preferred app is.
