There needs to a certain amount of bacteria in the small intestine. Some of the variables would be, the amount of bacteria initially ingested, number of bacteria that make it past the stomach, immune system of the host, time for the bacteria in the intestine to reach a concentration to cause symptoms.

They typical serotype in Africa is invasive, meaning it’s in the blood and people can become septic. This one appears to be non-invasive, it is similar to food poisoning.

We can infer and work through new problems. The more variables the more “new” problems. The problem with biology is there isn’t really any hard set rules, there are almost always exceptions. The amount of functional memory and computing power is ridiculous for a computer. Driving works mostly because there are straightforward rules.

The charges for the man with the rifle are fairly straightforward. If you are committing a crime and someone dies, even if you don’t directly kill them, it is murder. Creating a panic in a crowd is a crime. All they need to prove in that case is he created a panic, and someone died because of it. They don’t need to prove intent to kill, just to scare the crowd.
For the man who pulled the trigger, it will probably be a lesser charge. He clearly didn’t intend to kill a bystander. So, they need time to collect evidence and to decide what charge to bring. That can actually take a while, and they might not feel that they can win a trial. In that case he would not be charged. It’s way more complicated in his case.
its_prolly_fine@sh.itjust.worksto News@lemmy.world•Protester shot and killed at ‘No Kings’ rally in Utah, police say85·1 month agoEven if no one shot, pointing a gun and charging at a crowd is dangerous. Causing a crowd to panic can cause crushing deaths.
Regardless, when a gun is pointed at something it is to shoot. The basics of gun safety is to assume every gun is loaded and only aim at things you mean to destroy.
It’s a bit unreasonable to defend the guy who rushed a crowd with a gun. However, it is completely understandable to criticize the person who shot into the crowd even if it was a defensive action.
Just to be clear here, the peacekeepers were civilians that organized themselves to defend protesters. Everyone involved in the shooting was a civilian. Police were only involved after the fact.

Honestly just any of the earlier Avengers movies. I want to see Cap being continualy exasperated by his team ashe usually is, but also because he has to get things up high for him. The super soldier serum turned him from muppet to human. Running past muppet Sam saying “on your left”.
Also muppet Fury being surly and intimidating. Muppet hawkeye with a little bow on top of the fridge like a cat. Tony as a muppet with his billionaire playboy philanthropist line. Wanda being a creep with glowy muppet hands. Thor with a normal sized Mjölnir so its actually crazy he can lift it. Natasha flipping around with all the grace of a muppet. Black panther is just a black cat muppet.
MUPPET HULK!

These people worked for the embassy. We can’t condemn people in broad terms. That is what started this. Killing someone because of their nationally, race, or job, is wrong. It’s more senseless killing, adding to the hundreds of Palestinians killed.
Guard yourself against seeing individuals as the enemy, when their only sin is where they were born.
its_prolly_fine@sh.itjust.worksto Buy European@feddit.uk•not easy to quit Amazon completely4·2 months agoI have completely stopped buying from Amazon buuuuuut I still use them.
Use them to find the products you want. They have a good search engine and lots of reviews of products. Use https://www.fakespot.com/ to make sure the reviews are good! Once you find the thing you want, look up the company and buy from them. Most places have free shipping for things over a certain amount. I’m in the USA so I’m no sure if this would be the same for you. But, you can use a search engine to find it at a more local store.
Kindle is still my favorite eReader but I don’t buy them from Amazon. Calibre is a good program that can change file types of ebooks. If you buy an ebook from anywhere else, you can convert the file to epub. Then you can email the file to your kindle library. It will add it and keep all functionality as if you bought it on kindle.
Yep! How much stomach acid, how fast an individuals GI system processes food, lots of variables. Diseases that affect the GI are kinda weird IMHO. :]
