I don’t disagree with the penalty. I’m just stunned by seeing someone being awarded 4 penalty points. Don’t recall the last time that happened.
Edit: Apparently this is the first time an F1 driver has been awarded 4 penalty points for a single offense, according to RaceFans. Mazepin was awarded 4 penalty points back when he was in F2.
The story was dumb. The relationship between Hayes and the technical director felt so forced and unnecessary.
I appreciate all the little details they showed — the fan service as you mentioned.
