These owls are lovely! 💕
Poor thing looks pretty out of it.
❤️ What part of the world is it from?

It’s not the weekend without this. Thanks ❤️
Haha, usually they look a little surprised in photos, but this one sees you and does not like you. ❤️
They kind of look like puffy hawks without the facial disc.
The reward for actually clicking on the thread!
❤️ that is all.

I love black cats. I don’t really get why they are so hard to adopt out. I’ve heard it’s because they don’t stand out and get overlooked. My bestest cat ever was a void, but he had been at the shelter for nearly two months when I adopted him. I’m so glad he was still there. ❤️

For sure this jumping all over the place style is due to shortened attention spans, either the audience’s or the author’s. It is pretty annoying when everything is formatted for reading on phones. Some of us use iPads! Or -gasp- actual laptops and desktops!
Good to see that the Sooty was ok. They are like edgy Barn Owls. 🖤
How cool to host bird banding in your backyard!
But also, how dumb to defund so many scientific and research programs. The people who are trying to cut them have very little to no idea about how important they are. These programs are not just about how old birds are, but a good indicator of environmental problems that can impact humans as well.
I love this picture. They’re like “can you believe this?!”
